I recently had Achilles repair and Gastrocnemius Lengthening (calf lengthening) surgery and something I realized before the surgery was that I only had one pair of wide-leg pants that would fit over my cast! Obviously, I had to remedy that issue quickly. I headed to Amazon and found this wide-leg sweater set… and knew I had to have it! We’re fully into winter here in Vermont, and I was going to be stuck home for a while and wanted to be not only comfortable but cozy. And who says comfort and cozy have to mean sacrificing style?

Women's Winter Sweater Set

What do I love about this high-waisted Women’s Winter wide-leg sweater set?

I love the one-shoulder top with batwing long sleeves and drop shoulders. It’s flattering on many different body types and can be paired with other bottoms, so it’s versatile. I know it must be good when it goes missing and my 14-year-old daughter comes home from school in it!

Wide Leg Sweater Set

Another major plus is that wide-leg pants are having a major moment right now, so you’ll be sure to turn heads in this set. Not only are these pants high-waisted with a drawstring, but they are also long enough! One thing I’ve had a problem with in other women’s winter sweater sets is the length. I don’t know about you, but I hate when they sit above my shoe! This set is the perfect length.

And, of course, it’s comfortable and not at all itchy. It really has been the perfect “recovery outfit.” The soft knit fabric and relaxed fit make this set perfect for lounging at home, running errands, or even working from home. I’ve been wearing it with my Panda Air Jordan’s, but I know it would look great with my UGG Platform Tazz boots too!

Drop shoulder sweater set

No matter how you style it, this wide-leg sweater set is sure to become your new winter go-to. So ditch the sweatpants and embrace the cozy chic trend with this comfortable and stylish outfit.
