Yesterday I showed you my daughters new doll house. Today I’m going to show you had I hung the curtains. I wasn’t sure how I was going to hang them until this idea popped into my head as I was sewing! This is what you need:
Sewn Curtains (these are real simple curtains – I cut to size and sewed each side, leaving a little pocket along the top to slide the rod through)
Cut the skewer to your desired length. Add a dab of glue to one end and insert it into your plastic bead.
Place your curtains on the rod. Add another dab of glue onto the end of the rod and insert into another plastic bead.
To hang, add a dab of glue to the back of the beads and press firmly into place.
I added ribbon as tie backs and voila:
Easy peasy, right?
