Looking for a quick and easy Halloween craft that you can make in 15 minutes or less? Then read on for this DIY Mini Easel Tutorial and get the Free Halloween Print!

This popsicle stick art easel is so easy, have your kids help you make it and then display their art or my free printable! I absolutely LOVED the way that Kristen displayed the Scaredy Bones Print I created for Capturing Joy with Kristen Joy and decided I wanted to replicate it, but I didn’t have any sort of easel to use. But I do have a plethora of popsicle sticks, so I put my thinking cap on and came up with this two part Halloween Craft!

Mini Easel Supplies

6 popsicle sticks

Glue Gun

The first step, which is optional, is to paint the sticks. Use acrylic paint, or spray paint them.

Next, grab the trusty glue gun and glue two sticks together like this:

Now add a third to the back which acts as a stablizer:

Lastly glue three sticks one on top of the other:

And then attach it to the frame you created:

You’re easel is complete!

I wasn’t able to use the Scaredy Bones print I made for Capturing Joy with Kristen Duke because it was an 8×10 and wouldn’t fit on this easel. Instead I printed off the coordinating notecards I made and cut them down to 5.5″ x 4.25″. I then used washi tape to mount them onto black cardstock that I trimmed to 6″ x 4.75″.

Isn’t it a great little addition to a Halloween display? Happy Halloween!
