My niece requested a Halloween Party for her 7th birthday. After posting my daughters Tea Party invites, my sister-in-law contacted me and challenged me to come up with an invite that had a coffin and a skeleton.  I originally thought about doing a 3D coffin using my Silhouette Craft Cutting Machine, but my sister-in-law nixed that idea due to the need to hand deliver those. Instead I came up with these festive Halloween Bash Invites:

Aren’t these fun? They were super simple to make and Mckenna LOVED her invitations, as did her little friends. And because I love my readers so very much, I’ve made a free template of the invite for you to download. You can fill in the information on the second page by typing in the information in the pdf or print the invite and fill in your info with a Sharpie!

There are two versions to choose from. If throwing a Halloween themed Birthday, choose the first, if you’re hosting a Halloween Bash, choose the second!

The 8.5″ x 11″ pdf downloads include the main coffin template, the front piece that says either “It would be a Grave Mistake to miss this Halloween Birthday Bash” or “It would be a Grave Mistake to miss this Halloween Bash” and the inside with the skeleton holding a parchment with who, where, when and RSVP to fill out.

Use the coffin template to create the main portion of the card using colored cardstock. Once that is complete, cut out both the front and inside of the invitation and glue them to the coffin. Simple and festive!
