It’s that time of year again… and I created monsters! I am constantly amazed that my young children remember boo-ing from the previous year. Each year they ask when we are going to be able to sneak around the neighborhood leaving treats on neighbors’ doorsteps. My 4-year-old is so excited that she gets to join in on the scampering, sneaking, and hiding this year instead of being relegated to car duty with mom. If you love to Boo Your Neighbors, I made some low-ink You’ve been Booed Printables that you can use too!
You’ve Been Booed Printables
Two days ago the boo question was posed to me, “MOooooMMMM! When are we going to trick our neighbors with treats at their door?!?” I replied, “I don’t know if I’m in the booing mood this year…”
Their pleas, “Mommmmy! We HAVE to boo them. Remember how much fun we have?”
Me: “Well….” and them, “PLEEEAAAASSSSEEEEEEEE?” And then I gave in and we went to the store, picked up some Pumpkin Buckets and candy to fill them with along with some festive Halloween socks and spider rings. What can I say? I’m a sucker for everything that makes them so excited.
Since we were going to do this, I decided I wanted to create my very own Boo sign this year! I tried to keep it low-ink-friendly while still having a cute design since ink can be expensive.
Do you boo? Do your kids love it as much as mine do? If you’ve never done it, it is very simple. You’ll need two buckets, bags, or containers and some goodies to go inside. You’ll also need to download and print the boo printables below. Once you have everything put together, head out into the neighborhood to deliver the goodies – ding, dong, ditch style! Drop the goodies, knock or ring the doorbell and then run away! Your neighbor will find the treats on their door along with the printable sign and instructions so that the fun continues. The only negative (but is it, really?) to starting the booing in your neighborhood? You’ll probably end up getting boo’ed and have to do it again!

Thank you for making it low-ink! Some of the others I’ve seen around but I can’t bring myself to print them out because they would use 1/2 my ink! Very cute! We’re going to go boo some people tonight!
