It’s time for another round of the #CreativeBuzz Bloghop! This month’s theme is “Beachy”. Check out my project and then scroll to the bottom of the post for 5 more Beached Themed Project Ideas perfect for Summer.
I’ve got a fun and easy gift idea for you today! If your kids are anything like mine, they are invited to all sorts of birthday parties, so I’m always looking for fun and inexpensive gift ideas that kids can actually put to use. Since it is Summertime and I want to encourage gets to get outdoors, I came up with this Custom Beach Pail gift. I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out custom shapes and names out of vinyl and adhered them to the buckets. If you don’t have a Silhouette you can still accomplish a similar look with vinyl and an Xacto knife. If you’re looking for great vinyl, I’ve fallen in love with Expressions Vinyl (affiliate link for your convenience). Their prices are great and they have quick shipping!
Inside I placed the following:
A squirt gun
Bubbles
Gum
Drinking Cup
I made three buckets for $15! You can go more expensive by adding in sunglasses, floaties, a towel, sand castle tools – anything beach related works perfectly!
What do you think? Do you know a child that would enjoy this personalized Beach Pail Gift Set?

Love it but don’t think I could pull off the lettering with an xacto knife =( Any other suggestions?
Hmmmm… If you did a block lettering in all caps, I think an Xacto knife would be doable (I’ve done it in the past). You could try Sharpie Permanent Markers or Paint, but I’m not sure if they would hold up under beach conditions.
I seriously need to get my Silhouette out more. Love how you used it to cut out the letters rather than just applying the actual letters to the bucket Kim!
Ok I think I may be the only one on the planet that doesn’t own a Silhouette. I never really knew what it was but I think I need one now! These are super cute!
I always seem to get lots of bubbles when i do large areas with vinyl…do you have any tips?
