Hi Everyone! I’m Mandy and I blog over at SugarBeeCrafts.com – – I’m super excited to be here at 733Blog – isn’t Kim just amazing?! When I think summer, I think super colorful, so I wanted to share this fun garland idea with you – Crochet Heart Garland.

Simple and adorable Crochet Heart GarlandSimple and adorable Crochet Heart GarlandHearts are a simple crochet project that I used to help myself learn how to read a crochet pattern. I got the pattern down and was able to make the hearts without any trouble – I love how quickly they come together. But then I’m left with a bunch of crocheted hearts… I thought a garland would be great, but I wasn’t sure how to hang the hearts. I wanted to show you the method I figured out.

I loved the idea of using twine, but I didn’t want to pull out the stitches of the top of the heart. So I made loops through the middle of the heart. It took a little thought, but I was able to do it without showing the knot. So first thread through the center:

And then tie your knot:

But then slide the knot part to the very back:Crochet Rainbow Heart Garland

And then the loop was too sticky-outy — – so I tied a knot around itself at the base. I love how that came out.

Repeat that for each heart. Then thread those loops onto your long piece of twine and evenly space them for a garland. Twine is kind of rough, so they don’t really slide around. So fun!!

It paired perfectly with the Heart String Art I had created – if you’re looking for details on that, be sure to hop over to my blog. Thanks for having me Kim!!
