Halloween is right around the corner, so how about getting into the spirit by creating simple and easy Halloween Snacks for your kids? It doesn’t get any easier than this, and I promise, your young children will get a kick out of their Spooky Halloween Snacks!
If you’re like my family, you have Dannon® Danimals® Yogurt Smoothies in your fridge. These little bottles of goodness are a staple in our snack arsenal. My kids will have them as a quick snack on-the-go before soccer practice, or on the weekends during a long car ride, and typically in their lunch boxes as well. Everything my growing kiddos need!
To turn the yogurt smoothie bottles into Ghostly Specters, simply remove the plastic wrapper from the bottle, and use a Sharpie to draw in some eyes and a mouth! Easy enough that any mom can pull off this fun little treat.
Want to take it a step further? Pair these Ghostly Yogurt Snacks with Cracker Spiders, Apple Mouths, and Mummy Juice Boxes to create a fabulous Halloween Lunch for your kids! I found the new collector’s edition sports themed bottles at Walmart, with tons of different flavor options. My kids like the Strawberry flavor the best!
After your kids are done with their Ghost Snacks, don’t throw those bottles out! Once you’ve collected 6-10 of the bottles, make sure they’ve been washed and then turn them into a fun bowling game! Set them up on a hard surface, grab a tennis or other small ball and have even more fun with your creations!
