Summer is fast approaching and I know my children’s teachers are looking forward to the time off. My kids school has a looping system where you have the same teacher for two years, so my son has had his teacher for 3rd and 4th and my daughter has had hers for 1st and 2nd. We’ve been very lucky to get some of the very best and we are definitely going to miss them next year. As a small token of our appreciation, I picked up each teacher a mug and filled it with some delicious treats.
Of course I couldn’t have a gift without a bit of a DIY, so I whipped up some tags to attach to the mugs. I made 2 tags per mug. 1 says “Here’s to a SWEET summer!” and the other simply says “Cheers!” I printed them onto kraft paper and cut them out with my 2″ hole punch. Using bakers twine I attached them to the mug, 1 in front of the other.
I realize my kids get out of school a bit later than some, but don’t worry, if you can’t put these tags to use this year, download them now and save them for next year, or pin them to Pinterest and use them at a later date! And the best thing about these? They’re not teacher specific, so really you can use them for anyone that you want to celebrate summer with! Classmates, co-workers, family and friends!
Download the Summer Gift Tags in pdf format.
Personal use only. Do not alter.
Download the file directly to your computer and then open in a pdf reader, such as Adobe Acrobat. Send the file to your printer and print onto cardstock. Cut out in the square shape, or use a 2″ hole punch to punch the tags like I did.
I hope you are able to put these gift tags to use and wish you a warm and happy summer! Cheers!
