I love making cards with my Cricut Maker. Of course there are tons of Make It Now card projects, but I like to create my own as well. This is one of those projects. I started off thinking I would use vinyl or foil, but ended up taking a different direction and I love the way these DIY holiday cards turned out. I love them so much that I made the SVG file AND a printable file to share with all of you! This is definitely the time of year to spread a bit of cheer, right?

If you have a Cricut Explore or Maker (Affiliate links), download the SVG file above. Upload it into Cricut Design Space, select and attach the pieces of each quote. I chose to cut two cards from one 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock, so I set it up accordingly and then sent it to the Cricut machine.

Once the machine is done, cut into two cards.

Using holiday colored cardstock, cut out a rectangle that will fit behind the cutout quote.

Paste inside the rectangle onto the inside of the card.

Of course you are welcome to use these quotes for other purposes… a DIY gift bag with iron-on vinyl, a coffee mug filled with treats – tons of ways to put it to use!

Don’t have a Cricut machine? That’s OK too! Download the printable pdf file above. Save it to your computer and open in Adobe Reader. Then simply print the file onto cardstock – I love the look of the black on white, but you can also do it on bright and festive colors.

Once printed, cut the sheet in half to create two cards, fold, sign and mail! Easy peasy.

I hope you enjoy this SVG and printable file! If you use the quotes on something other than a card, I would love for you to share with my on Inspiration Made Simple’s Facebook page!
