My little guy loves Angry Bird’s. He plays it on my phone and iPad any chance he gets. However, I don’t like him being behind a screen too much each day. So when I came across a fun Angry Bird Pyramid Game while perusing Pinterest, I thought it would be a great project for my son and myself.  As soon as I showed him the game he was all about getting it done right then!  I went to see what we had for supplies, but unfortunately recycling had already been taken for the week so we didn’t have any soup cans.  I did have some soda cans that didn’t make it into recycling so I grabbed those and we set to work making our own Angry Bird Soda Can Game!

DIY Angry Birds Game - Use soda cans to make a fun knock down or bowling game that kids will love!

DIRECTIONS:

Trim the construction paper to fit the height of the can.

Using Markers/Crayons, color the Angry Bird Pig faces onto the green construction paper.

Using a glue stick or hot glue, wrap the pig faces around the cans and gluing into place.

Using a red ball or other round object, paint on an Angry Bird Face, set aside to dry. I cheated a bit and used a blow dryer to get this to dry in just a few minutes.

That’s all there is to it!

Stack your cans, and toss the ball at the stack! That’s all there is to it. This version works PERFECTLY and he LOVES it, so that is what matters!  He didn’t want to do any of the drawing, although I offered to let him. Total time, start to finish: about 20 minutes.

If you had a bigger ball you could easily turn this into Angry Bird Bowling and get a two-for-one craft project!
