I am so excited! I should be getting a Silhouette Cameo in the mail ANY day now!
I’ve had my Cricut Personal Cutter for a few years now, but it is small and I’m not a fan of their design software. The Silhouette just seems so much more versatile, you have more control of what you are cutting, sketching, etc. AND I love their online shape library and the great prices that go with it.

Also, don’t forget, I’M GIVING AWAY A SILHOUETTE PORTRAIT!
Giveaway ends tomorrow so make sure you get your entry in!
And if you already have a Silhouette, there are some great promo bundles available to seven thirty three readers.

In honor of my incoming Silhouette, I’ve rounded up 10 fun projects that were created using a Silhouette.
Hope you find lots of inspiration, and most all, enjoy the eye candy.

I love the shape of this lamp and the color of the lampshade, and the DIY honeycomb pattern is also eye catching. Visit Amy from Positively Splendid to find out how she made this beauty.

I LOVE the idea of this whimsical Family Clock from Landee of Landee See, Landee Do!
You have to pop over and see the boring BEFORE version.

It’s all in the detail, right? And these little Memoboard Clips from Jen of I Heart Organizing are oh so chic! I just love the flair they add to the fun family photos!

Sometimes giving money or a gift card is the way to go, but as you know, I hate just handing over an envelope. Having a bit of handcrafted flair shows you DID put thought and effort into the gift.
And this Owl Pillow Box from Linda of Craftaholics Anonymous is 100% adorable!
Aren’t these DIY Crayon Boxes from Crystal of A Pumpkin and A Princess stinkin’ adorable?

This is another great way to give a money gift, or make as custom party favors!

I know I’ll be able to get lots of use out of the Silhouette for parties.
Check out these Popcorn Boxes that homemade by jill created using her Silhouette!
Great way to create custom boxes.
I know that Valentine’s Day has already come in gone this year, but this Valentine Countdown from Beth at Home Stories A to Z is just too cute not to share.
I love the versatility that the Silhouette offers!
Mandy from Sugar Bee Crafts created this personalized shirt using heat transfer sheets.
You can have a ton of fun creating multiple different types of shirts heat transfer sheets, creating freezer paper stencils, the list goes on!
I love this wreath from Jen at Tatertots and Jello.
Such a fun way to add some color to your home after a long winter!

Vinyl Chalkboard Wall Art
Heather of Whipperberry created this awesome art using white vinyl and her Silhouette.
Great way to get fun chalkboard lettering without any hand drawing talent!
Happy Creating! ~Kim
