My cousin Bryan got married this past Saturday and I decided to put together a custom print for him and his new bride. I decided on doing a State Print (similar to my Family State Print I made for my kitchen) with a heart over the town they live in, plus their names and wedding date:
I printed it as 11×14 and placed it in a 16×20 matted frame.
I placed it in the reception hall with a pen for all of the guests to sign and leave well wishes.
I had been trying to think of a card idea all week to make with my Silhouette Cameo but nothing came to me… until 8:30am on Saturday morning! As I was laying in bed waking up (YES! I actually slept in that day), it hit me!
A Yoda card.
I wanted to do just his head and then some wise words of Yoda wisdom.
And the inside reads: A happy marriage you must have.
I verified the “Yoda-ness” of the words with my Star Wars fan husband and was good to go.
The perfect card for a couple of lovebird Star Wars fans.
