In case you missed my guest post a few weeks ago over at Mom of TwoSalums, check out this sweet little chipboard and color pencil card I made!

I made a wonderful discovery the other day. Maybe I’m stuck in the stone ages and all of you are going to tell me you’ve known this forever, but I was pretty excited. Using colored pencils on chipboard (or kraft paper) gives you a beautiful and bright drawing! Did you know this? Seriously cool.

I used some chipboard from Silhouette that I trimmed down to a small greeting card size and started drawing. Some of my colored pencils didn’t show up as well as others so keep that in mind.
Now I have a sweet little greeting card I can use to send a quick note with.
Give it a try, or at least let your kids try it! I’m sure they’ll love it as much as I do!
