I am always looking for new dinners for my family. While shopping at our local grocery store I saw packages of flat bread that looked really good so I grabbed them and decided to give them a try.
I personally am not a fan of BBQ sauce, so for myself I went with buffalo chicken, and did BBQ for the rest of the family.
Buffalo or BBQ Chicken Flatbread
Ingredients
- Chicken Breast
- BBQ Sauce or Frank’s Original RedHot Sauce
- Shredded Cheddar or Mozzarella Cheese
- Fresh Chives or Green Onions
- Bacon Bits
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in either BBQ sauce or Frank’s RedHot Sauce.
- Cook chicken as desired, we did so on the grill.
- Once the chicken is thoroughly cooked, shred it into small bite sizes.
- Add a layer of the chicken onto the flat bread.
- Cover with a layer of cheese.
- Dice the fresh chives or green onions and place on top.
- Drizzle either the bbq sauce or RedHot sauce over the top.
- Place in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
I serve this with carrots, celery and ranch.
It’s a family favorite for sure!
this looks SO good Kim! I’ve pinned it to try as soon as I get my hands on some flatbread ;o)
I use the Flat Out Thin Crust Flatbread – it comes in the blue package. 🙂 Hope you enjoy!
