Are you considering giving camping a go? Or maybe you’re prepping for an upcoming camping trip? Then keep reading because I think you’re going to love my Free Printable Camping Packing Checklist!
Personally I am excited that May has finally arrived. The warm weather has started to push through and we can get our camper fired up! I’ve been camping since I was a child and I love it. I love how relaxing it is. I really enjoy how the kids are unplugged and outside getting dirty. It also enables us to connect as a family and enjoy the outdoors.Â
What do we do camping, you may ask? TONS! I have an arts and crafts box that I store in my camper, as do the other mamas we camp with.
Are you new to camping? This Camping Packing Checklist is perfect for campers that are just starting out. The first few times we camped when we bought our first travel trailer, we would always leave something behind. It NEVER failed. Finally I made a checklist to help me get prepared.
Now that we have a travel trailer, we basically have double everything – one for the house, one for the camper. But before getting the RV I had the checklist laminated and referenced it each trip. Â
Do you camp? Do you go in a tent or in a camper?
Even if you’re not someone who enjoys the outdoors, I think taking your kids camping once or twice is a must, and who knows, you might find yourself relaxing and enjoying yourself!

Such a helpful printable! Thanks for sharing! Our family got a trailer several years ago and we still leave stuff behind…I always talk about making a list but never get around to it.
I’m so glad you can put it to use! Enjoy your camping season. Our first trip is coming up and I cannot wait!
What a great list! Lists are so important when camping because sometimes it’s not so easy to run to a store to pick up what you forget! Happy Mother’s Day and have a wonderful weekend! Angie xo
I’m a little jealous of that camper! We’re still tent camping! This is a great list and would be so handy to laminate and then just wipe off for each trip.
That’s so funny because that is exactly what I did when we had our old hybrid trailer that I couldn’t keep everything stored in. 😉
I still cant get over how GIGANTIC your trailer is! LOL Thank you so much for creating this printable list ~ it’s the perfect tool for just about any camper. Have a wonderful weekend! xo
We have a rinky dink trailer- nothing like yours! I had to give in awhile back that tent camping with babies just wasn’t that fun! 😛 Love how comprehensive your printable is- will be so useful!
Great list! I am in charge of our family camping trip this year and this will really come in handy!
Hi! Your list is awesome, and I can’t wait to make one that fits our family perfectly!! I was just wondering if you might be able to give a little bit more insight into what you keep in your “camper craft box”. It sounds like an awesome idea, but I feel like anything I put in there would be boring by the second trip. Thanks so much!
What a great question!
I keep a glue sticks for kids, plus a glue gun for me to use. I have googly eyes, pipe cleaners, construction paper, scissors, acrylic paints (we LOVE painting rocks – that never seems to get old for the kids), crayons, markers, twine, pom-poms, feathers, foam cut outs, and popsicle sticks. I restock with different items as necessary. When you have random items, it helps the kids use their imagination and come up with different projects!
Thank you for this awesome printable checklist!! Love it!
Thanks for the printable! I love printables, I love camping, and I love checklists!
HAHA! Glad to be of assistance!
Great List! and read! Husband and son are camping for the first time together and this is fantastic.
Don’t forget a bucket (possibly a collapsible camping bucket) to keep some water by the fire! (and deodorant!)
Thank you so much for letting us print this camping checklist. We go camping often, but I always print this and check things off and never forget a thing.
What a great printable camping checklist. This will be so useful in making sure we are organized and ready. THanks!
Thank you so much!! we go camping every year but we never remember what to bring!! This has made my life so easy.
I’m glad you were able to put it to use! We didn’t camp this summer and I missed it so much!
