DIY Anchor TeeI’m loving the anchor trend that is going on right now. I’ve had an anchor anklet since last year that I LOVE, so when I started seeing anchor tees, I knew I needed one. The only problem? All of the ones I like were out of stock in my size! Guess everyone else liked the same ones. What is a girl to do? Make one! I present to you the DIY Anchor Tee.

Anchor T-ShirtI designed the anchor in Illustrator and then imported it into my Silhouette Studio software. Using my Silhouette CAMEO, I cut the anchor out of Freezer Paper.

Freezer Paper StencilI ironed the Freezer Paper Stencil onto the front of a $5 striped shirt from Target and used regular old puff paint and a foam pouncer to stencil the anchor onto the front. I did a light coat, let it dry and then did a second let coat and let it dry. The whole process took about 1/2 an hour. For $5, I have an adorable tee for summer that is great paired with boyfriend jeans and canvas sneaks.
