Scavenger Hunt Printable
As I’ve mentioned before, my kids love to come home from school to random treasure hunts. It’s both fun and inexpensive to do and always leaves a smile on their faces. Since Summer has finally arrived and the weather has been so gorgeous, I decided to get them outside with a Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt!
Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt
We each grabbed a grocery bag and some rubber gloves (for that Litter item – I also grabbed an extra bag so we could keep the refuse away from the other items) and headed outside with my free printable scavenger hunt list to see what kinds of things we could find – we found everything except for a feather! The best part is that after the kids are done the hunt, they can take their finds and use their creativity to turn them into something else, such as painting the rock they found, or creating leaf art!

Don’t have a printer or are strict with your ink? No worries! You can always grab a piece of plain paper and write a list of items that can be found outside. Make sure to include check boxes next to each item so that the child can mark off their list as they go.

Wouldn’t this be a fun party activity? And it is absolutely perfect for a camping trip!
