A few weeks ago while we were camping I pulled out our camper craft kit and some paper plates and the kids and I made this adorable Clothespin Paper Plate Hedgehog Kids Craft! They were so proud of the end result and I love that this isn’t a typical paper plate craft! It is so simple to make and kids will love being able to take a regular old paper plate and turn it into something so totally different. Read on to learn how we made it!
Supplies Needed:
Paper Plate (we had the nice sturdy Chinet kind on hand and it worked perfectly, though I’m sure any paper plate will do)
Markers
Clothespins
Pom Pom
Google Eyes
Scissors
Glue
Instructions:
Draw the shape of a hedgehog onto a paper plate.
Carefully cut along the line with scissors.
Glue on a pom-pom for the nose and one google eye.
Color the hedgehog with markers, crayons or colored pencils and set aside.
Color the clothespins with markers and attach to hedgehog’s back, sit back and admire your work!
Easy as pie! Hope you and your children enjoy! Now tell me, what have YOU made with paper plates?
