My kids each end school on a different day this year. Today is my Kindergartener’s last day, next Wednesday my oldest graduates 8th Grade and next Friday my son ends his 2nd Grade career. Each of them had really special teachers this year – you know how sometimes they just really click with you AND your kids and everyone is just overall happy the entire school year? That’s how it was. My children are so blessed to have these amazing women in their lives. I brainstormed for a bit and finally decided I really wanted to encourage these ladies to start their summer off right, and the Summer Themed Teacher Thank You Gift was born! Plus there’s a free printable tag, so you can create something similar!

Here's to a "TOTE-ally" amazing Summer! Teacher Thank You Gift TagI purchased these fun picnic totes and filled them with some delicious “Summer” goodies.

Teacher Gift Idea with Free PrintableI added S’more makings because there is nothing better than a S’more on a Summer Night! Inside the tote they also found a Summer themed mug and lemonade mix. There are so many things that could be added to this gift – towels, sunscreen, and flip-flops for a trip to the beach; plates, cups, silverware, napkins, and a blanket for a picnic. Get creative! It doesn’t have to break the bank, but still shows your appreciation for all the hard work and love they shared with your child throughout the year.

Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint Mason Jar Succulent PlanterI also made some Mason Jar Succulents for classroom helpers and bus drivers. I used these Thank You for Helping Me Grow printable tags to top them off. These were SO easy to make! I used 2 coats of Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint on the Mason Jar. Once the last coat dried (I used a hairdryer to speed up the already short process). I sanded the painted jar lightly with a fine-grit sanding block. I added a layer of rocks to the bottom of the jar, then some potting soil, and lastly these pretty purple-tinted succulents.
