One of my favorites during the summer is fruit salad. The weather is gorgeous which has me wanting fruit salad. Nothing says spring to me like fresh fruit. Usually when I make fruit salad I just throw all the fruit in bowl, add a few dashes of sugar and serve it up. This one is different and has the best flavor. Let me share this great tasting fruit salad with you.Delicious Fruit Salad

 

Gather up all the fruit you want to use. I used strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, raspberries, and a can of mandarin oranges. Once I chopped the apples and sliced the bananas I added a little lemon juice to keep them from browning. Add all your fruit into the bowl, and then add this:Delicious Summertime Fruit Salad

Yes, that’s a can of peach and a can of apple pie filling. This adds the most amazing layers of flavors to your fruit salad. You have got to try it! Just look at how gorgeous this fruit looks when you serve it up, not to mention how delicious it is.

Ingredients

  8. 20 oz can of apple pie filling
  9. Lemon Juice
Instructions
  1. Cut up fresh fruit and place in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in a squirt of lemon juice to keep fruit from browning.
  3. Stir in peach and apple pie filling
  4. Keep refrigerated.
