Several years ago while hanging out inside our camper, which we were living with as our house was being built, this recipe was born. It was pouring all around us. We had finished baths and were trying to think of something we could do together. The kids were talking about how they wished the rain would stop so that we could make s’mores. And then an idea hit me! I had mini graham cracker crusts in my pantry – let’s try to make a Miniature S’more Pie!

It took 5 minutes from start to finish (in a camper stove, it takes a bit longer in a full-size one) and the end result was a delicious mix of ooey, gooey, crunchy sweetness. The kids were heaven, I was in heaven. It was like eating a s’more out of a dish! Want to learn how to make these super simple pies? No need for pudding or any special ingredients. Make one or 6, simple as…pie! Read on to learn how to make a 5 Minute Miniature S’more Pie!

Hershey Chocolate Bar – 1 bar will make 3 pies

Marshmallows – 2 per pie

5 Minitue Mini S'more Pie

Turn oven to broil.

Place 3 squares of the Hershey bar into the center of the pie crust. (3 was the perfect number for us, but if you are looking for an extra chocolatey dessert, feel free to try more and let me know how it goes!)

Rip a marshmallow in half and place it on top of the chocolate, sticky side down. Do the same for a 2nd marshmallow.

Place in oven for 3-5 minutes or until marshmallow is golden brown.

While pie is baking, melt some chocolate in the microwave in 30-second bursts.

Remove pie from oven, drizzle chocolate on top (or place a square of chocolate on top) and serve immediately.
