My brother is a single dad to an adorable little girl that will be two in January. She is such a little sweet pea and has her Aunt “Timmy” wrapped around her little finger. He just bought her a new toddler bed and Ariel bedding and asked me to help complete her space with some wall art. I’m such a sucker for Mermaids, as can be seen in my own daughter’s Mermaid Room. I immediately decided on a Mini Mermaid Themed Gallery Wall, because I’m also a sucker for Gallery Walls! I made these prints available as free printables at the bottom of this post so that you can recreate this look!
The large ornamental frame came from Michael’s and fits 11×14 prints. The rest of the items are by Plaid and came from Walmart. I painted the frames and plaques with white acrylic paint. The “A” was given a coat of blue acrylic paint.
To add a little dimension to the wall I glued the A to the circle plaque.
For the 10×10 art display I used Elmer’s glue and sparkles to glam up a clothes pin and then hot glued that to the square board. I created several print options that my niece can change out whenever the desire hits, or she can even draw up her own artwork to display.
My daughters “A mermaid sleeps here” pillow has been a huge hit, so I decided to do that saying in a print and added that to the 5×7 frame to finish off the wall.
I think the Mini Mermaid Themed Gallery Wall was the perfect touch to finish off my niece’s sleeping space. What do you think?
Do you have a little Mermaid fan in your home? I would love to see pictures if you put these printables to use!
