I love creating simple jewelry that anyone can make. I don’t have all of the necessary tools, or probably the patience, to get into the true art of making jewelry, but something quick and pretty is definitely up my alley. While shopping on Consumer Crafts I came across two items that I thought could look really nice together and went ahead and added them to my cart. Using a simple macrame knot I’m going to share with you how I made this two supply DIY Macrame Rhinestone Bracelet bracelet, which I’ve received a number of compliments on! It pairs well with my silver bracelets and I love the simplicity of it. If you are looking great project for a group of tween/teens, then this is definitely for you! And PS – I was totally right – the hemp and rhinestones look awesome together.
SUPPLIES:
Hemp Cord
Rhinestone Chain
Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
Trim a length of rhinestone chain to fit around your wrist.
Cut a 40″ length of hemp. Fold the length in half, and create a knot on the folded end by wrapping both strands around your finger and passing the end through the loop. Don’t make it too big, or your bracelet might fall off easily.
We are going to use the Macrame Square knot – create a half knot around 1 rhinestone like in the images above.
Finish with another half knot around a 2nd rhinestone to complete one square knot. (see images above). Continue down the whole bracelet.
Once you’ve reached the last rhinestone, finish with a half knot.
Create one more knot and trim the ends.
That’s it! You’re ready to wear this beautiful and simple Macrame Rhinestone Bracelet!

How do you fasten the bracelet?
You place the knotted end through the loop end and pull tight. I’ve never had it fall off. 😉
