Black Candy Melts
To make the Oreo Spiders: Place the black candy melts in a microwave safe bowl. Place in microwave for 1 minute. Take out and stir. Place back in the microwave for 30 second blasts until completely melted.
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Dip pretzel sticks in the chocolate, leaving about .25″ of one end uncovered. Place on cookie sheet. Each spider cookie needs 6 pretzel legs. Once pretzels are all covered, place in fridge for about 10 minutes or until chocolate hardens.
Remove the tops from the Oreo Cookies. Press the uncovered end of the pretzel into the white cookie frosting. Place all six legs and put the top back on the cookie.
Dip the backside of a candy eye into the melted chocolate and place it on the top of the cookie. Repeat until all Oreo spiders have two eyes.
To make the paper Halloween Cupcake Toppers: Open Halloween Cupcake Toppers Cricut Design Space File. The file is all set-up. Simply press GO and follow the directions on the screen.
Once the toppers are cut, use a glue stick to assemble them. Use a dab of hot glue to attach them to a toothpick.
Easy and delicious! Do you host a Halloween party? Is it for kids or adults?
