The idea I’m sharing today is not one I can take credit for. If you search Google or Pinterest you’ll probably see a ton DIY Play Tote Stoveideas. But I decided to whip one up for our friends daughter and since I was creating a Cricut Cut file already, I thought I would share it here to make things super easy for you, should you decide to make one too!
Pick up an inexpensive plastic tote – I went with a tote that is 16″ x 11.5″. It is the perfect size tostore the food basket and pots and pans that I also purchased for this gift. You’ll also need vinyl and a Cricut Explore (affiliate link for your convenience) to complete this project. Transfer tape would be helpful but isn’t necessary.
Open the Play Tote Stove Cut File that I created in Cricut Design Space. Once open, all you need to do is click GO! to send the file to your Cricut machine.
Weed the vinyl and then use your Transfer tape to transfer the vinyl onto the tote lid. Lay it out however you want – I went with a traditional style and laid the 4 knobs right down the middle.
Super simple gift idea for a little chef! Add in some play food, pots and pans, an apron and a chef hat for the perfect tote ‘n go playset!
