I needed a simple cookie treat for my works cookie exchange. When I saw Positively Splendid’s Santa Oreo, I knew that’s what I wanted to make. However, when I got to the store they were out of red and white chocolate melts. I almost nixed the whole plan, but then the kids and I started chatting and we decided we could make some Rudolph Oreos instead. I figured they would be pretty simple to make. Unfortunately the store was also out of candy eyes, but I knew I had some at home.

My daughter and I did a quick test and ended up with a cute little cookie, so we went live on Inspiration Made Simple’s Facebook Page with a quick tutorial:

Rudolph Oreos Supplies:

Double Stuffed Oreo Cookies
Chocolate Chips
M&M’s
Candy Eyes
Pretzels

Place a half cup of chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir.

Using a toothpick, add a bit of chocolate to the back of the candy eyes and a red M&M and attach to the Oreo cookie.

Break a pretzel and insert into the stuffing of the cookie to create antlers.

That’s all there is to it! If you run out of candy eyes, these look super cute with just a nose and antlers too.
