Olivia’s pastel girls room is holding strong as one of our favorite rooms in the new house. She absolutely loves being in her room and is quite proud of it so cleans it on her own! Bonus for me! I decided it would be fun to add a unicorn vinyl room sign to her door so that the outside is as fun as the inside! Affiliate links included for your convenience.
I designed the vinyl room sign in Cricut Design Space and used my Cricut Maker to cut the sign using glitter vinyl. Once the sign is cut, weed out the unnecessary vinyl. Using transfer tape, lay it over the vinyl sign. Remove the backing and carefully adhere the vinyl to the door by rubbing over the transfer tape and carefully removing it from the door.
That’s all there is too create a custom vinyl room sign! It’s cute and unique and a fun project to do in under 30 minutes. Do you have a Cricut Maker?
I saved the Cricut Design Space file for this Unicorn Vinyl Room Sign in case you want to recreate it. Open the file in Design Space and follow the instructions below to customize it!
Just replace Olivia’s name with your child’s. Select the text and then “weld” it together.
Select all and click “Center Horizontally”.
Lastly, select all and “attach” so that it cuts on the mat exactly as it is laid out. Send it to your Cricut to cut it out.
