Ladies, I’m excited to share with you a new site that is tailored to the active woman, offering women’s fitness and swimwear. What does that mean? Let’s ask Albion directly!
“Our garments are fashionable and unique, but more importantly practical and technical. Designed by women, our apparel is crafted for women  wherever they may be in their fitness goals. Our clothes easily transition from work out gear to lounging gear: whether she’s running an errand or 26.2 miles across a finish line.”

I’m an active person. I work out 6 days a week. I love to rollerblade, walk, hike, ski, swim and so on. That makes Albion right up my alley, so when they contacted me about reviewing some of their product, I agreed. I figured if I was into these things, some of you must be too, right?
I looked around and was really close to picking an outfit from their workout clothing line:

Hood Stripe Sweatshirt
Wouldn’t these three items make the cutest outfit? I love loose fitting shirts with thumb holes and I live in compression capris when working out!

But I didn’t end up going with a new outfit. Instead I decided to get a bathing suit.
I have a hard time finding a tankini that is long enough, and after looking over the images at Albion, I decided that these looked exactly like what I’ve been looking for.
I was waffling between these three:

Teal Petal Two Piece Suit
Can you guess which one I picked?
THE BIG POLKA DOT ONE! You know I love me some polka dots and I just thought this had the perfect feminine touch while still getting the coverage I desired.
I purchased my typical size and it fit perfectly. I love that it has removable cups, that also allow the wearer to place in bigger cups should they choose (for those of us smaller chested girls). The fabric is nice and thick and stretchy, both of which I associate with a high-quality suit. I love the fact that the tankini is LONG. If I stretch it all the way down it hits the top of my thighs, but I can also scrunch it up and have it hit the bottom of my belly. The bottoms have a sash that ties on each side. My only complaint is the top is SO long it is hard to make the sash show properly on my body. I almost think I would prefer the bottom without the ties. I also think it would be really pretty with just a solid black bottom. That’s the great thing with Albion, you can mix and match their tops and bottoms to fit your style.
