I use a time saving element you can thank me for later: Frozen Pre-Cooked Chicken Strips! This saves prep time and tastes yummy too!Delicious and simple Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla Recipe - Great appetizer for game day, or combined with other dishes for a family meal!

INGREDIENTS:

Flour Tortillas
Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Frozen Pre-Cooked Chicken Strips
Olive Oil

OPTIONAL:

Chopped Green Peppers
Diced Tomatoes
Diced Onions or Scallions
Sliced Olives
Shredded Lettuce
Salsa
Sour Cream

DIRECTIONS:

Warm your chicken strips over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.

Heat a large frying pan to medium heat. Add about 1/4  teaspoon of olive oil and spread it around the bottom of the pan. Place one flour tortilla into the pan. Flip every 10 seconds until air pockets begin to form.

^ Half way there!
^ Just about good to add cheese and chicken.

Once the air pockets begin to form, sprinkle a handful of grated cheese over the tortilla. Place chopped chicken strips and any other ingredients of your choosing, make sure not to overfill!

Allow the cheese to melt a bit  and then fold the tortilla in half .

Leave in pan to allow cheese to fully melt, continuing to turn every 10 seconds (turn heat to low if it is getting too browned).

Cut into wedges and serve with salsa or sour cream.
