Duck® Brand challenged me to use their Holiday themed Duck Tape® to Deck My Halls this Holiday.

Ever up for the challenge, I decided that I could make our family dinner this season a little more festive with the help of some Duck Tape® Utensil Pouches.
Here’s how I did it:
Cut three strips of Duck Tape®, 6.5″ long.  Place one strip sticky side up and then place the next strip overlaying the first by .25″ inch.  Do the same with the third piece.
Cut three more 6″ long strips and place sticky side down onto the other pieces.
Repeat steps 1 & 2 to make a second sheet.  Cut both down to 5″ w x 6″ l.
Place the two sheets together.
Grab a contrasting tape and cut a 6″ piece, now rip the piece in half length-wise.

Lay it down sticky side up and place the pouch on top of it and then fold the tape over to adhere the two pieces of the pouch together and then trim the excess.  Do the same for the sides, leaving the top open.
(After I put mine together I realized the top wouldn’t have a border, so if you want yours too you would put a border on the top of each sheet BEFORE taping the two pieces together).
I added a chalkboard label so that the pouch doubled as a place setting (I REALLY need to get a liquid chalk pen, just imagine how clean and crisp that chalk label would have looked!).
Since I had half a piece of the contrasting tape left, I folded it in half and then trimmed to a thinner size and tied it around my wine glass stem.
Wouldn’t it be super cute to add a matching placemat to finish off the table setting?
This is a quick little project that should take about 5-10 minutes per pouch, the more you do, the faster you’ll get!  AND this same process can be used to create a fun envelope for a gift card, which is what I recycled this pouch into!
