I created a template that you can download (see the supply list in this post) to use to create these darling custom lapel pins, or you can get creative and design your own! Give them to mom on the printable pin backing cards and she’ll be enamored. This is a great craft for all ages, so grab the supplies, watch the video below and get coloring!

Permanent Markers or Watered Down Acrylic Paint
Tie Tack Pins
Super Glue
Scissors

DIRECTIONS:
Prefer written directions? Read on!
Download the custom pin template to your computer and open it in Adobe Reader. Print onto regular 8.5 x 11 computer paper.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you are using a BrightPad, turn it on. Place the template down and then lay the shrink film over the top.
Using the permanent markers, color in the pins. Note: The markers always darken in the oven, so if in question, choose the lighter color option!
Trim excess shrink film.
Place the pins onto an aluminum foil-covered pan.
Place in oven for 1-3 minutes or until pins lay flat.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Once cool, use super glue to adhere the tie tack pins to the back of the shrink film.
Allow the glue to dry completely before wearing!
