Fall has arrived. Are you as excited as I am? I love the cooler weather, and here in the Vermont, the beautiful colors are in full bloom. But with the cooler weather comes the desire to be comfy, cozy. Amiright? I’ve been on the search for a big, oversized sweatshirt and finally found one in the mens department at Walmart. It was inexpensive and fit the way I wanted, but it was plain. That is not a deterrent for me though. One of my favorite things to create with my Cricut Maker and EasyPress is shirts, so this plain, comfy sweatshirt was perfect.

When I got home I pulled up Cricut Design Space on my phone as I was watching TV – in my new comfy sweatshirt – and started scrolling through the Image Library. As soon as I came across the “Not Not Today” image, I new it was the the right fit for my uber-comfy, oversized, lazy around the house sweatshirt! The image is from the T-Shirt Collection, in case you want to make your own. Want to make this project? I saved my Cricut Design Space file for you!

I added it to my design space, sized it to fit the chest of my sweatshirt and saved it. Next it was time to figure out what type of iron-on vinyl I was going to use. I originally planned on using gold, but as I was looking through my stash, I came across my foil iron-on. I put the pink foil up against the blue sweatshirt and boom! Decision made.

I connected my phone to my Cricut Maker, sent the cut file to the machine, loaded the foil onto the mat and into the machine and cut the design. While that was going on, I heated up my Cricut EasyPress.

When the file was done cutting, I weeded it, placed it on the sweatshirt, pressed it with the EasyPress. From start to finish it was about 6 minutes and I was back in my sweatshirt, in front of the TV cuddling with my dogs!

My favorite joke when wearing this shirt is to point to it anytime someone asks me a question. It’s a hit with the kids… meaning they totally roll their eyes at me!
