Pumpkin Pie Cake


  • 1 package Yellow Cake Mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice


  • In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine cake mix, eggs, water, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice; beat on low for 30 seconds.
  • Beat on medium for 2 minutes.
  • Pour into two well-greased and floured 9" round cake pans.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan, cool completely on wire racks before frosting.
