Delicious homemade protein bars eliminate all the extras that store-bought bars have.

Ingredients
2cupsplain Cheerios
1/2cupLow Fat Peanut Butteror your favorite nut butter
1/3cupPure Honey
1/2cupChocolate Protein Powder
1/4cupDark Chocolateoptional
Instructions
Spray an 8x8 baking pan or dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat combine the peanut butter and honey. Stir until warm and creamy.
Add in the protein powder and stir well.
Combine the mixture with the Cheerios in a bowl, mixing well.
Once mixed, pour into the prepared baking dish. Use a rubber spatula to spread and level the bars.
Place the dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 3o seconds. Stir. If the chocolate is not completely melted, return to the microwave for another 30 seconds.
Drizzle the chocolate over the top of the bars.
Place into the freezer for 1 hour.
Notes
Once hardened, cut into bars and place in an airtight container. Keep refrigerated.
