Chocolate Dipped Chocolate Chip Cookie Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 package Milk Chocolate Chip Morsels
  • 2 teaspoons Vegetable Shortening

Instructions

  • Place 1/2 a package of Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies into a zippered freezer bag. Use a spoon to crush the cookies. Pour into a bowl.
  • Mix in one cup of peanut butter.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Form small 1" balls out of the dough using a small cookie scoop and place onto the parchment paper.
  • Place in freezer to harden for 15 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate chips and shortening together for 1 minute in the microwave. Remove from microwave and stir. Put back in for 30 second bursts until fully melted.
  • Dip each hardened cookie ball into the melted chocolate using a spoon and then place onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet to dry.
  • Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
