Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Saltines
  • 4 Sticks Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Bags Nestle Chocolate Morsels Or Hershey Chocolate Bars
  • 1 Bag Nuts of Choices

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line two baking sheets with tinfoil, and place Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  • Set a saucepan to medium-high and add sticks of butter.
  • Add brown sugar and white sugar.
  • Bring to a boil for just a minute.
  • Pour butter toffee mixture over the saltines.
  • Put the sheets in the oven for ten minutes. Rotate the pans at the 5-minute mark. They'll come out all brown and bubbly.
  • Cover the crackers with chocolate morsels.
  • Place sheets back in the oven for a couple of minutes -- just long enough to soften the chocolate.
  • Chop Nuts.
  • Take the sheets out of the oven, and with a spatula, spread the chocolate evenly over the saltines.
  • Sprinkle nuts over the chocolate.
  • Place the baking sheets in the fridge. Allow to cool for a few hours.
  • Remove from fridge. Peel the bark away from the tinfoil and break into pieces.
