Have you seen the new Dreamworks movie, Trolls? A couple of weekends ago my sister-in-law and I took our kids to see it and it was absolutely adorable! We even took my two year old nephew, who had never been to the movies before, and it really was the perfect first movie theater movie! It doesn’t have any real scary parts and the music and dancing and bright colors are tons of fun. We were singing all the way home! As my daughter and I were hanging out one Saturday we decided we wanted to do a little craft together and we came up with these fun Trolls Envelope Puppets! It is a super simple craft that anyone can make and kids are going to enjoying playing with these adorable little Poppy and Branch Puppets.

Draw on facial details with a marker.

For Poppy add her headband by using a strip of green paper, and several three and four leaf clovers cut out of teal paper.

That’s all it takes! Now place the puppet on your hand and have fun! There was lots of singing “Hello darkness my old friend…” and “Celebrate good times, Come on!” in our house, with lots of Branch saying “No!”

I hope you and your kids have fun putting these adorable little puppets together. I’d love to see what other Trolls you make… or maybe even a Bergin?!
