Being full-time outside the home working parents means we are away from home a lot of the week. Every once in a while it is nice to just stay home and have no where to go. And what better way to spend a night in at home than with Family Game Night? Have a little special time home with the kids, enjoying each others company. That is just what we did this past Friday! I got some sweet treats, some fun games and we spent the night in.
I headed to Walmart and picked up one of our favorite family games, Jenga Game. I also grabbed some party-sized bags of M&M’s® Milk Chocolate and M&M’s® Peanuts, which are also a family favorite.
Once I had the staples for our game night, I decided to spice things up and really have fun but turning the Jenga Game into a Jenga Game TRUTH OR DARE! Ahead of time I put together a printable of 12 Truth and 12 Dare cards – each contain something silly and fun and totally G rated. Read on to find out how we played this fun twist on a family classic.
First, download and print the Truth or Dare cards at the bottom of this post. I made 12 of each, plus provided a set of blank cards so that you can make your own. I am totally envisioning a fun Marriage Proposal or Baby Announcement, so pretty please, someone do that and send me the video! Cut out the cards and place them in two stacks.
Assemble the game as usual and follow the normal rules of play. However, when you successfully pull a block that has color dots, pick a card from the corresponding pile – yellow is DARE, blue is TRUTH.
Answer the truth or perform the dare, sure to produce lots of laughs!
