Looking for a fun way to give festive Halloween goodies? Maybe at a party, to friends at school or daycare or maybe you’re planning on booing somebody? If you answered yes, then you’ll want to read on for some incredibly easy, yet super adorable (and just a tad spooky), Halloween Favors! Plus (added bonus alert!) DIY Takeout Container Halloween Favors

I found the cutest little takeout containers at Oriental Trading and knew I needed them. I figured I could make something sweet with them. Since I was already placing the order, I decided to add in some delicious little treats to fill the boxes with – Warheads, Mini Chocolate Bars, Eyeball Gum, and Wax Lips seemed to fit the bill nicely. Isn’t it nice when you can order everything you need, all in one place?

While I waited for my Oriental Trading goodies to arrive, I logged into Cricut Design Space and started playing with some ideas for turning the boxes into spooky Halloween creatures. Using shapes and the slice and weld tool, I ended up creating a black cat, a one-eyed monster, a jack-o-lantern, and Frankenstein.  If you’re interested in learning more about the slice and weld tool, check out my Custom Window Cling video tutorial that explains the process.

Once my containers arrived, I measured them and sized the designs in Cricut Deisgn Space to fit.

I sent the designs to my Cricut Maker, which cut them out of cardstock. Want to make your own? You can open my Halloween Favors Design Space file and get creating! The designs are sized to fit 2″ x 2″ x 2 1/4″ takeout boxes.
