I recently bought a Jeep Wrangler and we have been enjoying it this summer. There is a whole Jeep movement I was unaware of until purchasing one. I am a proud participant of the Jeep wave and have been having fun tooling around with the top and doors off. But there is one aspect of owning a Jeep that my daughter and I always joke about – Jeep Hair! We have bandanas and a brush stored away inside the Jeep just to keep our long hair under control. Post contains affiliate links for your convenience.

Jeep Hair, Don't Care DIY Shirt

After a long drive this past weekend, we were joking about how messy our hair was and Todd said, Jeep hair, don’t care! And immediately I knew it had to go on a tee. I asked Olivia if she would like one, and she said YES! so we got to work.

I created the design on my phone in Cricut Design Space, connected wirelessly to my Cricut Maker and had the image cut within minutes. We used a newish tank and iron on vinyl and voila! She has her very own Jeep Hair, Don’t Care Tee for our Jeep days.

Have a Cricut and want to make your own? I’ve saved the Cricut Design Space file just for you!

Open the file, adjust the size to fit your tee and send to the mat. Make sure to turn on mirror image for cutting with iron on vinyl.

Lay the vinyl shiny side down and send the design to your Cricut.

Once it is cut, weed the excess vinyl.

I own a Cricut EasyPress, which is what I use to transfer the vinyl onto the shirt. It creates a more even heat, and is easier than me having to pull out my ironing board and iron.

Follow the directions of the EasyPress – set the heat and the time based on the material of your shirt and press the vinyl.

Once done, pull away the clear backing and you have your Jeep Hair, Don’t Care Tee!
