A good friend of mine just recently celebrated her 40th Birthday. She moved from Vermont to North Carolina several years ago and I wasn’t able to make it down for her big bash. I did want to be there in spirit though so I put together a fun little care package to send along, including a fun 40th Birthday Card.
I designed and printed the birthday card and then ran it through my Heidi Swapp Minc machine to add the blue foil. I know my friend will find this hilarious!
Her birthday package consisted of a bottle of wine, but not just any bottle! I replaced the label with a customized one (inspired by one I saw on Pinterest, but the pin was a dead link…) just for her birthday that I also ran through my Minc. I added in a Salted Caramel bar of Lake Champlain Chocolates and a book of messages from people in her life. I mean, who doesn’t want a bit of wine and chocolate and to read about how much you mean to people?!
To create the book I simply printed out the messages onto Avery Postcard Paper. Once all the messages were printed, I tore along the perforated edges and stacked the cards. I punched a hole in the top left corner and used a binder ring to hold everything together. I also added pictures of her and friends and family throughout the book.
