Tuesday was Todd’s birthday and I needed to find the perfect card to celebrate. We were on vacation last week and things were hectic with work when I got back so I decided to go ahead and make one instead of trying to find one. And of course I had to have a little humor to make him smile, so here is the Printable Card for Boyfriends that I created:
Simple, cute and funny. Just the way we like it. Of course it really only matters what’s inside the card. This one simply states “Happy Birthday!” and then I wrote a sappy little love note to let him know how mushy he makes me feel inside. Todd is a pretty sentimental guy and appreciates a good card and love notes so he treasured this and it made my heart happy to see him get emotional reading what I wrote. Now maybe that’s not your man and you’re just going for straight humor, that works too! You guys do you. If I’ve learned anything over the last year and a half, it’s to be true to yourself.
Since this card also would work perfectly for Valentines Day, I made a version for that as well that simply states “Happy Valentine’s Day!” on the inside with plenty of room for mushiness or cartoon drawings or whatever the heck you want to put inside.
The cards are available for free and you can download them below. Simply save the file to your desktop, open in Adobe Reader and print onto 8.5 x 11 cardstock. Once printed, fold it in half, trim the edges and you’re ready to sign and deliver!
