I am not a coffee drinker, but that does not stop me from indulging during the Holiday season with a little International Delight!  Did you know that you can use ID Coffee Creamer to give a little kick to your Hot Cocoa too?  And what screams Holiday time more than peppermint? 

 
You know that the season is upon us when you see the seasonal flavors in the International Delight freezer.  Unfortunately my grocer is a little behind schedule this year because they haven’t put it out yet!  But don’t fear, I was still able to make a yummy  Peppermint Pattie Hot Cocoa (instead of the Peppermint Mocha I had planned) using International Delights York Peppermint Pattie Creamer!  
 
This is a favorite of my kids after playing outside in the cold Vermont winters.  They come inside and instantly ask for their hot cocoa and every now and again I will spike it with a little Peppermint zing.

Ingredients:
International Delight York Peppermint Pattie or Peppermint Mocha
Hot Cocoa Mix
Marshmallows or Marshmallow Fluff (optional)
Peppermint Stick (optional)
Directions:
Make your hot cocoa as usual.  Add in 1 tbsp of ID York Peppermint Pattie Creamer and stir.  Drop in a dollop of Marshmallow fluff or a handful of mini marshmallows and top off with a peppermint candy cane. Call in the cold kiddies and sit back and enjoy adding a little warmth with a twist to your Holiday season!
