When we moved into the new house both of my younger kids asked me to make door signs for their bedrooms. I love when my kids ask me to create something for them so I said yes and got to work. Making a DIY Room Sign is simple and is only limited by your imagination! Plus, using vinyl means no putting holes in doors, and it is easy to remove when you want to change it out. DIY Vinyl Child's Room Sign

DIRECTIONS:

Once I decided on a theme for each room sign I got to work designing the sign in Cricut Design Space. My daughter has a love of elephants, so I included that in her sign. I simply added the text “Olivia’s Room” and then searched the image library for a cute little elephant. I got it it laid out the way I liked it and then sent it to cut on my Cricut Explore to cut out on a sparkly indoor vinyl from Expressions Vinyl.

Once the vinyl was cut, I weeded the vinyl laid transfer tape over the design. I then placed it on my daughters door.

So simple and cute and it can stay for as long as she likes. As soon as she is ready for a change we’ll peel it off and design a new one!

I also made one for my husband’s Man Cave and share the free cut file in case you want to recreate it! I think I might just label all the door’s in my house, because I have plans to add one to the Laundry Door soon too!
