I don’t know why I’m on such a sweet kick lately! Anyway, I was sitting at home one day and started thinking about this super delicious, soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie I had from our local grocery store recently and I thought, hmmm… wonder if I could make some sort of trifle with those. Then I started thinking how much I love chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream together, and then I headed for the store! HA! When I got home, I whipped up this Cookie and Ice Cream Trifle concoction and it was an instant hit. I mean, check out how delicious it looks:

Such a simple, yet delicious dessert! I think it would be even more fabulous using a WARM Chocolate Chip Cookie. Think about all that ooey-gooey goodness. And of course you can get much more creative with your toppings – add nuts, caramel, or use another type of cookie!
