We’ve been hit with some pretty frigid temps recently, so I decided to create a fun art project that the kids could do that got them out from behind those screens. I’m currently obsessed with adorable llamas, so I designed a couple of llama clothespin puppets. But then I had to be just a bit extra and created a couple of llamacorns! HA! You know the magical mythical creature that combines the elegance of the unicorn with the utter adorableness of a llama?!
These little puppets are super easy to make!
You’ll need the following supplies to create them:
Printable Llama Clothespin Puppet Template
Clothespins
Coloring Utensils – markers, colored pencils, etc
Scissors
Glue
How to assemble:
Download and save the file to your computer. Open the pdf in Adobe Reader and print.
Customize these cuties with markers, colored pencils, or watercolor paints.
Once colored, cut out each llama.
Cut along the mouth cut line.
Adhere to the closed end of the clothespin.
Allow to dry completely before putting on a fabulous and spectacular puppet show!
This is a great boredom buster project that is easy to make and fun to play with. I hope you and your children enjoy!
