Do you have a little Baseball fan in your house? Throwing a baseball themed party? This easy snack is for you! A couple of weeks ago I shared how I made some super simple Basketball Pretzel Rods. In the how-to video you may have noticed the little baseballs on the mat. Well, those were for these Baseball and Bat Chocolate Pretzels! These are super easy and inexpensive to make and I haven’t met a kid yet that doesn’t like them!
These treats are simple to whip up and ANYONE can make them, promise! I think they would look adorable packaged up in pretzel bags with a little tag that reads “Thanks for making my party a hit!”
Milk Chocolate Chips
White Chocolate Melts
Edible Marker – Red
Using a red edible marker, draw the lines of a baseball onto white chocolate melts.
Pour the milk chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl. Place in microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Place back in microwave for 30 second bursts, stirring in between until completely melted.
Dip the pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to completely cover if needed.
Place a baseball chocolate onto the end.
Once your pretzel rods are complete, place them in the fridge for a few minutes to harden.
This is such a cute idea! I included it in a blog post about baseball team snack ideas. You can read it here: http://www.hunnyimhomediy.com/for-the-kids/kid-friendly-food/baseball-snack-mix-9-team-treat-ideas/
Thank you for sharing!
I agree! I am trying to make them now with wilton melts and wilton edible markers and the markers will not write on the melts 🙁
If you’re working in a warm environment, try popping them in the fridge for a few minutes before writing on them.
Is there a particular edible marker that you used? Does the size of marker tip matter?
I just used the regular Wilton markers that you can get at Walmart or Michaels. Nothing special about them.
hads the same problem with the markers –
switched to using a gel pen. Easy on, smooth, and bright color. Plus the gell adds a bit of dimension to the ball.
Thank you for a great solution!
