Hi again Seven Thirty Three friends. It’s Shauna from The Best Blog Recipes and today I’ve brought you an awesome Philly Cheese Steak Recipe that’s not only simple, it’s super tasty too!
I guess you could say that the hubby and I are kind of on a Cheese Steak kick this week. We were so excited to try a new Cheese Steak restaurant that just opened down the street from our house and the whole time I was eating I couldn’t help but wonder if they accidently forgot to season our meat.  It was terrible and I couldn’t believe we had just paid $20 for 2 sandwiches & fries.  We left that restaurant on a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich mission to create an outstanding recipe at home that was simple, delicious and the best part… it would save us money!
Recipe Ingredients
1.5 pounds of Flank Steak, fat trimmed off
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
1/2 red bell pepper, seeds removed & chopped
1/4 yellow onion, chopped
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt & Pepper (a couple of dashes each)
Nacho Cheese Sauce (usually found in the Mexican Food aisle)
Mayonnaise
Hoagie Rolls
Directions
1. Chop your onion and pepper and set aside
2. Trim the fat off of the Flank Steak and finely slice the meat into smaller pieces (we used a pairing knife to make it easier) Add the meat, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt & pepper to a bowl and stir to combine
3. Add your oil and balsamic vinegar to a large skillet and heat over medium.  Saute your onion and bell pepper until soft and translucent.
4. Turn up the temperature on your burner to med-high and add your meat & sauce mixture to the bell pepper and onions.  Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed.
5. Heat your nacho cheese in a separate microwave safe bowl and spread it onto one side of your hoagie roll.  Add mayonnaise to the other side of your hoagie roll and top with meat.

Best served with chips, fries or potato salad!
