When life hands you lemons, make alcoholic lemonade! With the 4th of July coming up, many of us American’s will be celebrating with a BBQ or other get-together. If you’re plans include hanging out by a pool sipping on an alcoholic beverage, then I have the perfect treat for you! It’s festive, it’s zesty, and it is perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. Read on for my super simple, yet absolutely delicious, Patriotic Sparkling Lemonade Cocktail Recipe! Seriously, if you can pour, then you’re good to go! And how cute would these look around a table for an adult lunch?
Ingredients
Lemonade
Sparkling Wine (an extra dry works well)
Watermelon
Blueberries
Directions
Pour lemonade over ice in a wine glass. Add 1/2 cup Sparkling Wine (more or less to taste).
Using a star cookie cutter, cut a star out of watermelon. Using a sharp knife, make a slice in the bottom of the star and attach to the side of the glass.
Add in a handful of blueberries.
Sit back, relax and sip your delicious Sparkling Lemonade Cocktail! It is sure to help keep you cool over the gorgeous July 4th Weekend!
